United Committees
For Life (UCFL)

Each week at our office we received several requests asking what the mission is of UCFL. I hope that after reading this document you will understand our mission as well as how you can be part of an organization that will eventually overturn Roe V. Wade. I know that this is a bold statement to make but after you read this material, you tell me if it can be done.

For over 20 years we have seen thousands of Pro-Life organizations spring up all over the country. These organizations could see that abortion has created a need for people to help the women who were pregnant and needed a place to go for consultation and help. Today there are over 3,000 Crisis Pregnancy Centers in the country. Most of these centers are operated by volunteers.

There are other Pro-Life organizations that try to bring information pertaining to the abortion issue to as many people as possible by way of television, radio, and newspapers. There are flyers that are distributed through churches, hand outs, and fraternal organizations. There are some churches that openly speak against abortion and some that say nothing. Thank God that we have had so many people start the fight against abortion even before abortion became legal in 1973. Here we are thirty five years later and there are still people who know nothing about the abortion issue. This does not mean that those who have been in the battle against abortion havn't done a great job. It only means that there must be a better means to educate people about abortion.

For the past 20 years I have received thousands of calls from people from the media of Voices For The Unborn. Here we are 35 years later and 90% of people have no idea about the horrors of abortion. I still receive calls telling me that when we say that abortion is legal through all nine months of pregnancy, they tell me that they understood that abortion was illegal after the third month of pregnancy. No one has ever called that knew that there were places they could seek help to make a decision about having an abortion.

There has been tremendous effort placed on trying to elect a Pro-Life person into a public office only to find that many were not elected. How could they be elected when the people they are asking to vote for them look at them as a one issue candidate. How can they be elected when there are many times divisions between Pro-Life groups where one group tell their people to vote for their candidate and the other Pro-Life groups tell their people to vote for another candidate. One case in point was Dornan of California where he lost because another Pro-Life group supported another Pro-Life candidate. It is time to realize that there are no St. Francis Of Assisi running for office so we have to look who will save the most babies from abortion.

There are many Pro-Life organizations that have split up into two and even three groups because someone did not like what the mother group was doing. In other words, in the past, if someone did not agree with the leader of the group they would talk others into leaving the organization and forming a Pro-Life group that was more in line with one persons feelings. "United we stand, divided we fall'. No truer words ever spoken. There must be a better way to fight against the problems I have Just discussed and I feel we at UCFL have that way. Please take time to read the methods we have established and understand that our aim is to unify Pro-Life people and organizations without them having to change there work with their present organizations and still be part of this project.

A TIME FOR CHANGE-A NEW BEGINNING

THE MISSION OF COMMITTEES FOR LIFE

The mission of UCFL is to make abortion illegal once again in the United States. In order for this to happen, a new concept must be put into operation called United Committees For Life. In order to understand how this will be possible I would like to describe the method of operation to you.

The first step is to have five directors of the operation. Each director will have five committees under them. Each committee will have a captain and a co-captain in charge of that committee. There will be a start up quantity of twenty soldiers, as this is a war, in each committee. As time goes on there will be additional people signing up to work on each of the committees. Each member signing up will be asked to fill in information about themselves on an application blank. This information will be used to determine where the volunteer can be best utilized according to the expertise of the soldier.

In order to understand how this UCFL unit would operate you must understand the reasoning behind the formation of this organization. First of all, a project will be approved by the directors. These projects will originate from the specific needs at the time. Once the project has been approved, a plan of action will take place where the committee captains will be informed of the jobs they are to do. They in turn will notify their soldiers to inform them as to what they are to do and how to do it.

When a project is first started, the directors will lay out the plan and decide what committees will be needed to complete the task. Those committees that are not needed on that specific project will not be asked to participate in the project. They will only be called on when other projects are in need of their services. This method utilizes those people that have agreed to work in the area of expertise that they have. Many times in the past a project has been put into operation by asking for volunteers. These good hearted people many times volunteer to help even though they have no idea how to accomplish the goal of the project creator. The final outcome is always the same. The project never is completed and only a handful of people help because of lack of knowledge as to how they should perform the task. With the UCFL method, only those people that have the expertise in the task they are asked to work with would be used so that everyone involved has a full knowledge and ability to complete the task.

To give you an example of this technique, let us assume that a fund raising project is to be started as one of the first items of a planed project. The directors would meet to determine which committees will be needed to complete the task. The Fund Raising Committee would initiate the first step by bringing in other committees such as the Phone Bank Committee to make phone calls, the Media Committee to advertise the event, the Information Distribution Committee to distribute printed information, and the Special Projects Committee to assist in special projects. When this package is put together, it will be submitted to the Directors for approval. Once approved, the project will be put into operation.

As you can see, a project could be put into operation very quickly as everyone involved will have the address and phone number of every member of UCFL. This would aid in answering any questions involved in the performance of any project. Everyone involved will know that everyone involved in a project are experienced in what they have to do.

As you can see the initial formation of UCFL will require five Directors, twenty Captains, twenty Co Captains and four hundred Soldiers. Will we be able to attain this target? You bet we can. As the volunteers start to grow, many of the initial volunteers will bring in their friends and with the media we have, this will bring in additional members.

I would like you to picture what would happen if other Pro-Life groups set up the same system. First of all they would not lose their identity of their organization. They would only become a unified organization that would work on mutually needed projects. Voices For The Unborn completed a Pro-Life directory that contained about six thousand names, addresses and phone numbers. If each of these organizations would work together in unity on Pro-Life projects, think of the power that the Pro-Life organizations would have with a unified effort that could be put into operation within twenty four hours.

In order to accomplish all of the above mentioned missions we must first prove out the system to assure others that the UCFL will be successful. The best way to achieve this goal is to put a project together that has never been done before that will prove that the system will work and show significant advances in the fight against abortion.

You may ask yourself, "Who can make all this happen?" The answer is, "You". If you are interested in being part of the endeavor, I ask that you fill out the enclosed application or for more information call our office at 215-355-5292. If you are a leader in your Pro-Life organization, please contact us so that we can set up a meeting to discuss how we can work together as United Committees For Life.

"UNITED COMMITTEES FOR LIFE"

A TIME FOR A NEW BEGINNING
A TIME FOR CHANGE

Legalized abortion has now been the law for over thirty five years. It is our opinion that it is time to introduce a new method of fighting abortion. In the United States there are over six thousand Pro-Life organizations. Each one has a different theme in their work. We feel that it is time to work in unity with one another. Contained in this document is a method we feel is the tool needed to accomplish this mission.

It is time that we adopt the method of government that has been successful for over two hundred years and that is our United States Congress. In Congress there are representatives from every state in the nation. Each state has a different number of Congressmen based on the size and population of the state. We propose the same thing. That is that we build a Pro-Life Congress called United Committees For Life where each state will have several Pro-Life groups representing their state with voting power to accept or reject proposals initiated by the Directors. There will be five Directors who will be voted into office once all the states are represented in the United Committees For Life. Fortunately we will not have a two party system as Congress has today. There will be one party, the Pro-Life Party, who will be represented by each state in the nation.

We have already started a base of operation using the system we have created. There are twenty committees where each one has a captain and a Co-Captain in charge of each committee. The Captain of the Committee reports to his Director. There are five Directors with four committees under each Director. We have received many calls from individuals who want to help with our mission. They are all asked to fill in the questionnaire so that we can place them in the committee where they can do the most good.

Enclosed with this package is an application we ask you fill in the information requested if you or your organization is interested in being a part of this mission. If you need additional information I would suggest that you call the number listed below and we will gladly answer any question you may have. We ask that you fill in all the information requested so that we can better understand what you have to offer to make this mission the success it will inevitably attain.
